2017 Staatskongress

For those in the Indiana area, here is info on the 2017 Staatskongress:

Sehr geehrte Kollegen,

Greetings! On behalf of IASG Staatskongress, I wanted to make everyone aware of important dates for this year's Staatskongress 2017. We will hold our event at Ball State on Saturday, February 4, 2017. The reason we had to set the date earlier than usual was due to scheduling conflicts with Ball State University. Please share this information with your colleagues.

The theme for this year is: Deutsche Musik von gestern bis heute
We hope to have information posted on our website regarding the theme within the next few weeks.

These are the dates we have set regarding registration:
On-time registration will be due by Friday, January 27, 2017.
Late registration will be due by Tuesday, February 1, 2017.

In addition, we hope to have a way to submit registration online without having to email an excel document (stay tuned for further details!).

As always, if any of your students are interested in serving on the IASG committee, please have them contact us.

Please contact me with any questions, either at iasgerman@gmail.com or mbowman2@warren.k12.in.us. Thank you for supporting the IASG Staatskongress - we could not put on this program for our students without you and your talents!

*******************
Please note when you register your students, you will be asked to agree to the following conditions:

  • I understand that my students and my school will be held accountable for following the rules of Staatskongress, my own school, and the Ball State campus.
  • I recognize that my students are representatives of our school and should act appropriately.
  • Ball State donates their facilities for our use, and we want our actions to reflect our appreciation of their generosity. It is imperative for the continued use of Ball State University facilities that our students remain on the designated IASG floors of the BSU Student Center and Burkhardt building reserved for the convention.
  • Actions will be taken against those vandalizing or acting inappropriately.
By submitting this registration, I confirm that I will also discuss the rules and consequences with my students.
