The Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures at James Madison University seeks a part-time Instructor in German for the 2016 spring and fall semesters, with the possibility of renewal. This position is not eligible for benefits. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation. The teaching load will be two to four German courses per semester, at the beginning and intermediate levels. Applicants must possess native or near-native fluency in German and English. Classroom experience in higher education preferred. Minimum qualifications: M.A. in German or equivalent. Salary is commensurate with experience.
