
Lindblom Math and Science Academy, a Chicago-area school with one of the largest Arabic programs in the country, sent 19 high school students to Qatar this month thanks to the support of the Qatar Foundation International. In addition to immersing themselves in the study of Arabic, the students will also have to opportunity to learn about water conservation and environmental issues in local waters from Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jacques Cousteau.
