Colorado International School Immediate Job Opening German K-5th Grade Teacher

There is a detailed Job Description for the German Program Teacher for Grades Kindergarten (children ages 5 turning 6) through 5^th.In summary, The German Program K-5^thGrade Teacher will teach classes in German, including integrated language arts, language, math, science, geography and history within the International Baccalaureate Primary years Programme curricular framework to students in Kindergarten through 5th Grades and work collaboratively with other program language teachers and grade-level colleagues in the English, French, Mandarin and Spanish Programs. The German Program K-5^th Grade Teacher will participate fully in school events, school projects, and school life during the 2013-2014 academic year, planning, preparing and implementing events with the German Program a well.

The salary range for a fully-qualified native speaking teacher is between $30,000 and $40,000 for the ten-month work period from August 5, 2013 through June 6, 2014. Colorado International School provides health benefits as well as paid leave for personal and sick days. Colorado International School will also provide paid professional development and training, particularly with the IB PYP, for the German Program K-5^th Grade Teacher. Colorado International School does not provide relocation or pension benefits for 2013-2014l.It is desirable, but not required, that candidates have Level 1 IB PYP training or complete it within the first two months of the 2013-2014 academic year.
