News: University receives grant to teach languages to future mil. officers

The Defense Department awarded the University of Wisconsin-Madison a $490,000 grant to provide classes for languages of critical need. Students in training to become officers will take classes in Arabic, Hindi-Urdu, Turkish and Russian for free through the "Project Global Officers" grant.
