Increasingly, K-12 school districts nationwide are adopting cloud computing as a solution to reducing personnel and management costs related to wireless networks while also serving schools' technology needs. According to Tom Nolle, president and found of CIMI, a networking consultancy: "Because cloud is providing a management as a service framework, charges can be based on episodes or incidents, not burdened by a mammoth capital cost".
