Job Summary	The Department of German Language and Literatures at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time non-continuing faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences. Appointment to this position will be for a term of two semesters beginning fall semester 2017. The position will carry the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of German, depending on qualifications.
About
Responsibilities	The incumbent will teach five courses per year in the general area of German language and literature. This will include two courses at the elementary level, one at the intermediate level, one literature course in German on literature in the candidate’s area of expertise, and one course in English translation on a literary or interdisciplinary topic of the candidate’s choice. Applicants are welcome to propose a First Year Seminar in place of one of the above.
Qualifications	Among the qualifications required for appointment is the Ph.D degree (in hand or expected by first semester of academic year 2017/18). Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience at the college level is desirable.

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at ADU is currently inviting applications for faculty appointments in Education for Academic Year 2016-17. Appointments at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor) are available and will be decided based on qualifications and relevant experience.

Faculty Role:
CAS Faculty members report to the Dean/Associate Deans, and participate in the growth and development of the University. Faculty members will be engaged in teaching in the undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, involved in research activities, and committed to university service.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• An earned doctorate from an accredited institute in a discipline within specialization.
• A record of outstanding achievement in higher education and scholarship.
• Successful university teaching experience, relevant to the academic rank.
• Strong research record or potential for publications and research.
• Experience in working with people from different ethnic backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, a commitment to the importance of scholarship and diversity, a spirit of entrepreneurship and an understanding of the role of the university in economic development.
• Familiarity with the new teaching media, visual communication and the need to equip students with the varied skills they must have to succeed in an ever-changing media environment.

Lecturer in English TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Department of English Language and Literature

TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, Turkey invites applications for a full-time instructor/lecturer position in the Department of English Language and Literature. Initial appointment for one year, starting with Fall 2016; possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance. The position requires teaching advanced English skills usually to freshman level English Language and Literature students, including essay-writing, public speaking, critical reading and writing, academic paper writing, presentation techniques, etc. Other departmental/academic service may be required.

Desired Skills and Experience
We are seeking native speakers of English who hold BA and/or MA/and/or PhD degrees in English (preferably in English literature), Teaching or related areas. At least three years of teaching experience in the related areas is required. Candidates with academic or university level teaching experience will be preferred.

Tecnológico de Monterrey is a Mexican private non‐religious higher education institution with no political affiliation, founded in 1943. We promote in our students an entrepreneurial culture, humanistic values and an international perspective. We have 32 campuses throughout Mexico and various academic centers and liaison offices in North and Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Full Time Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey University. Candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate level. The position requires giving lectures and workshops for the equivalent of 12 hours per week, in a 40 hour work week, which includes other duties.

Qualifications
Teachers must have a Master's degree in Linguistics, English as Second Language, or related field.
3 years teaching experience
Knowledge of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment
Knowledge of the Cambridge English Scale Methodology and Certification.
Native speaker preferred
Currently live in Mexico or be willing to relocate to Mexico.

The American College of the Middle East (ACM), Kuwait, is a two year college which provides applied higher education programs. The programs offered at ACM are designed for students who desire an emphasis on practical and applied learning as an alternative to conventional theoretical learning.
