TOBB University of
Economics and Technology, Ankara, Turkey invites applications for a
full-time instructor/lecturer position in the Department of English
Language and Literature. Initial appointment for one year, starting with
Fall 2016; possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.
The position requires teaching advanced English skills usually to
freshman level English Language and Literature students, including
essay-writing, public speaking, critical reading and writing, academic
paper writing, presentation techniques, etc. Other departmental/academic
service may be required.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are seeking native speakers of English who hold BA and/or MA/and/or PhD degrees in English (preferably in English literature), Teaching or related areas. At least three years of teaching experience in the related areas is required. Candidates with academic or university level teaching experience will be preferred.
