Mobile learning -- tablets, bring-your-own-device programs and other initiatives -- is having a significant influence on teaching and learning, according to a recent survey. Among those who participated in the Speak Up 2013 survey, 86% of school and district administrators said mobile learning improves student engagement. School leaders also indicated that mobile learning is helping to prepare students for college and career.
