The Department of Romance, German and Slavic Languages and Literatures at The George Washington University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Spanish and Latin American literatures and cultures with a focus on Mexico. We are seeking candidates working in modern and/or contemporary Mexican and/or Latino/a literary or cultural studies.

Minimum Qualifications: |
Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the date of appointment; evidence of strong potential for scholarship as demonstrated by publications and work in progress; evidence of strong potential for teaching excellence as demonstrated by teaching assessments; and native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English.
