Providence High School in Charlotte, NC seeks a German teacher. Prior experience
would be preferred.
This position would be for the second semester of the current school year, teaching
German I and German II on an A/B, 90-minute block schedule. This is a large,
award-winning program with excellent parent involvement and an active German club.
Applicants should demonstrate:
enthusiasm for German language and culture
excellent classroom management skills
familiarity with ACTFL proficiency standards and proficiency-based pedagogy
willingness to work collaboratively within the German and World Languages Department
commitment to promoting German in and outside of the classroom
