Assistant Professor - Temporary (3 Years) German Area Studies
The German Area Studies Program announces a temporary, 3-year position to begin July 1, 2014. Ph.D. in hand by time of appointment, native or near-native fluency required. We seek a generalist, who is a dynamic teacher with demonstrated excellence in teaching all levels of the undergraduate German curriculum and has strong research potential.
Strong candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for liberal arts environment, background in digital pedagogy as well as expertise in related fields in order to help build the program. Additional duties will include curricular development, and supervising and mentoring the program's Fulbright FLTA.
