Edgenuity has an expanding Online Services department (formerly known as Virtual
School Services). With that expansion, we have an almost continual need for state certified teachers
(grades 6-12) to fill contract positions in many states across the country. These contract positions are
part time so they are great opportunities for state certified teachers to earn some extra income.
The ideal candidate for this position is state certified to teach grades 6-12, detail oriented, very well
organized, computer savvy, and above all, a great communicator. Virtual instructors ensure that
students have an excellent experience in our online environment, and they do that by communicating
with students frequently via email, phone and other internal systems. The instructor also guides
instruction, supports, and manages the learning process, and primarily focuses on the individual
needs of each students.
We are currently looking for Certified Teachers for grades 6-12 with multiple state certifications.
Subject areas of primary interest are: German, Chinese, Latin, Physics, Technology, and Health
Science. Subject areas of secondary interest are: Physical Education, Health, Art, Science, Math,
