The Department of German Studies at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for the position of assistant professor with expertise in media, visual, and/or performance studies in any time period and the ability to work within the larger field of German studies. Standard teaching load is two courses per semester, and will be at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Service commensurate with the position of assistant professor is expected. The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and to developing a strong research program.
